Get Out and Do Something!

I’ve recommitted myself to lose some weight and get fit. Nearly every day this week I’ve walked. It may not be a long walk, but it’s some sort of physical exercise outdoors.

One thing I’ve realized in trying to exercise is physical activity will help you sleep. Sleep is one thing I struggle with on occasion. It takes me a while to get to sleep some nights. Perhaps it’s because I haven’t exercised that much. Perhaps it’s having the wrong kind of snack after supper. Perhaps I shouldn’t snack. Perhaps I should. A fella can’t win for losing sometimes.

It’s been nice getting out and enjoying the beautiful sunshine and warmer weather. I’ll cherish these days when the cold weather and slate gray skies return this fall and winter.
