It’s Me Again

Sorry I’ve been away for a while. Lent and all, you know. Lots of sermons to write. Lots of thinking to do. Lots of shut-ins to see.

It’s been three weeks since my first visit to the psychiatrist. I went back today. Things are progressing well with my Effexor upgrade. What’s been helpful the most is having a fixed schedule every day. I have structure and that’s not a bad thing. Every day I get things done and have a sense of accomplishment rather than wandering through the day with no discipline. I’m trying to fit in exercise time too. Exercise keeps the body and mind active. It also helps me fall asleep faster at night.

I went back to the “shrink” today. Things are going well. I have another visit in six weeks.

I also found a different therapist today. I have an appointment with the therapist next week. I’m looking forward to it!

One helpful matter is also the change in the weather. Warmer temps are here as well as more sunshine. Today was gloomy but at least we have sun about every other day. That’s better than week after week of slate gray skies.

The Lord Jesus bless your Holy Week in His grace and peace.
