The Reading of Many Books

I paid a visit to my local bookshop today. Little did I know that the “Religion” and “Christian Spirituality” sections have so many books that touch on depression. Here’s a list of what I saw. Have you read any of these books?

Acedia and Me by Kathleen Norris (An internet search turns up this review.)

The Inner Voice of Love by Henri Nouwen

Peace of Soul by Fulton J. Sheen

If you have read any or all of these books, were they helpful?

Another book that was recommended reading (was it DMR who recommended it?) is Speaking of Sadness by David Karp.

What books are helpful to you? Let me know so I can add them to my list.
